After years of attending the Allergy and Free From Fair in both London and Liverpool, I’m very excited that as well as visiting all the stalls, I’ve been invited to speak at the Liverpool one next week (on Saturday at 2pm, in case you’re interested). I’m going to talk about our experience as parents of learning to live with the diagnosis, offer a few thoughts about what we’ve learned – and about some of the mistakes we’ve made.
We really enjoy the event; stalls offering gluten free food to be tasted and bought… what’s not to like? And of course there are lots of other types of allergy products there to investigate too – everything from skincare to kitchenware, allergy testing to fitness.
We’ve come away with some wonderful new finds in the past, and there are several companies there that are completely new to me—as well as some old favourites—so that will be interesting!
